Automotive Technicians

Garage EMP, located in St-Jérôme, is looking for one or two automotive Technicians to join our team.

At Garage EMP, a competent and qualified team welcomes individuals and companies looking for a professional able to find the solution to a mechanical or electrical problem, make a diagnosis, complete overhaul for a mechanical inspection, repair air conditioning.

Working conditions:

- Full-time position;
- No layoffs during off-peak periods;

- Very competitive salary, depending on experience.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic problems on vehicles;
- Perform engine repairs, including internal and external components;
- Repair and maintain emission control systems in compliance with current environmental standards;
- Ensure proper operation of air conditioning and heating systems;
- Intervene on fuel injection systems (gasoline and diesel) to optimize performance;
- Repair and maintain on-board electrical and electronic systems;
- Inspect, maintain and repair suspension and steering systems;
- Collaborate with the team to propose effective technical solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience;
- Electric vehicle certification an asset;
- Team spirit, resourcefulness and autonomy;
- Curiosity and constant desire to improve;
- Proactivity in learning and adapting to automotive innovations.
