Center de Collision Rive-Nord is a state-of-the-art workshop. It uses quality equipment to repair chassis and perform other bodywork of all kinds. On-site you'll find: top-notch paint chambers, a team of appraisers and several partner insurers, a limited lifetime warranty on most repairs, and over 10,000 square feet of work space to serve you better.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for an Evaluator to prepare professional repair estimates and supervise adherence to these estimates during the repair.
- Make an appointment with the customer within 24 hours of receiving notice of a claim from an insurer; notify the insurer if the customer cannot be reached within this time frame.
- Notify the insurer immediately if the vehicle can be considered a total loss.
- Draw up professional and accurate estimates in compliance with the standards and procedures of the Groupement des assureurs automobiles and those issued directly by insurers.
- Take clear, precise photos that clearly demonstrate the extent of the damage.
- Complete the estimate with additional repairs in a precise and well-documented manner, accompanied by photos in the case of repairs not indicated on the original estimate, and notify the insurer before carrying out the repairs.
- Ensure that all parts required for a repair are ordered in a timely manner, inventoried upon receipt and charged to the appropriate repair order.
- Communicate with customers as soon as parts are received, and draw up the work plan in a timely and efficient manner.
- Be precise about job duration and notify customers immediately of any changes or delays.
- Monitor the progress of vehicle work in the workshop and ensure that repair instructions are followed.
- Perform quality control and inspect each vehicle upon completion of repairs.
- Complete, close and file repair orders and related documents for use by insurers in the event of quality control.
- Verify payment of insurance, applicable deductibles, rental authorization and balance due before delivering vehicle to owner.
- Examine damaged vehicle to determine degree of structural and mechanical damage, as well as body and interior damage.
- Estimate the cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged part.
- Evaluate the costs of additional repairs that could be made to the vehicle, and explain them to the owner in order to obtain authorization to carry out all potential repairs.
- Effectively use Autatex and Mitchell Estimating in the repair of quotations.
- Perform other duties as required and directed by management.
Requirements:
- Certificate in Auto Damage Estimating or equivalent experience.
We offer:
- Monday to Friday schedule;
- Day shift;
- Salary from $70,001 to $80,000 per year.
