About Greenwood

We are currently seeking a registered 310T Mechanic Apprentice for our Orangeville shop. You will work on a growing fleet of Mack trucks, front end loaders and pickup trucks. As a 310T Mechanic Apprentice, you will assist with the repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with company, safety and regulating body standards and procedures. The 310T Mechanic Apprentice will need to possess the recommended hand tools for the job.
Responsibilities
- Complete basic maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements and tire rotations.
- Complete and maintain necessary reports, work orders and records of all completed maintenance work
- Be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policies and procedures
- Assist with road calls and emergency mechanical services as needed
- Additional responsibilities as required
Technical Requirements
- Must possess, provide and maintain recommended hand tools for the job (specialty tools will be provided)
- Enrolled as an Apprentice 310T Truck and Coach Technician
- Minimum 1 year practical experience with heavy trucks
Business Requirements
- Full time position, Monday - Friday, 7am-5pm
- Strong attention to detail
- Must possess a valid class G driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- Desire to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, customer-focused environment
This position pays between $32 - $37 per hour, based on skills, education and experience.
