Process Coach - Production

Responsibilities

 

  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations.
  • Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers.
  • High commitment to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset.
  • Create a culture of safety and apply and implement workplace policies.
  • Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
 

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience working with AVR- (Applicable vehicle regulations).
    • Experience working in Production lines.
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
    • Experience working with and supervising unionized workforce.
    • Understanding of CBA (collective bargaining agreement).


Preferred Requirements
 

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required).
  • Experience:
    • Body shop/stamping/paint/subassembly experience preferred
    • Safety and Quality experience preferred
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
    • Knowledge of constraint management principles
    • Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)
    • Prior experience managing a unionized work force
