Brief job description:
Under the Service Manager's supervision, the Service Advisor is responsible for greeting customers, assessing their vehicle repair and maintenance needs, proposing adapted services, and planning the execution of work while ensuring a superior customer experience.
Main duties :
- Greet customers, collect vehicle information and update contact details;
- Verify warranty coverage and conduct a test drive if necessary;
- Inspect the vehicle, advise customers on necessary repairs and prepare a detailed estimate;
- Explain the work, obtain customer approval and plan turnaround times;
- Coordinate work with the workshop and monitor progress;
- Inform customers of any changes to costs or deadlines, and obtain their authorization for additional work;
- Communicate with customers when the vehicle is ready and finalize the repair file;
- Manage payments and ensure smooth vehicle delivery;
- Respond to appointment requests and follow up on parts on order;
- Participate in quality control and handle customer complaints;

Requirements:
- Bilingualism (French / English) required;
- Computer skills related to the automotive sector;
- Valid driver's licence.

Training
- High School Diploma and minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role OR trained as a Service Advisor with 2 years of experience.
