This position is expected to start around August 2025 and continue through the entire Fall term (i.e. through December 2025) or into Spring 2026 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

About the Team
The team in Mississauga works on novel cathode precursor manufacturing process development and closely collaborate with internal teams on precursors and cathode materials testing and evaluation. The candidate will focus on wastewater treatment recycling and raw material qualification.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior engineers to design experiments and data analysis
- Collaborate with engineers and operators to develop wastewater treatment technology
- Work with senior engineers to develop raw material qualification metrics and experiments
- Prepare and present technical report to constructively communicate internally and externally
Requirements
- Currently working towards a degree in a relevant engineering program such as Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- Experience with wastewater treatment technologies (electrochemical reduction/oxidation, electrodialysis, etc.)
- Experience with corrosion, hydrometallurgy or related electrochemistry work
- Strong communication skills
- Strong data analytical skill
