Job Description
- Oversee the installation of tooling and equipment in an automotive manufacturing setting, ensuring efficiency and adherence to industry standards.
- Develop and prepare bid packages for tooling installation projects, utilizing the 15% of tooling cost method.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align tooling installation projects with overall production timelines.
- Monitor and manage the tool installation process to meet specified deadlines
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
- Maintain continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve tooling installation processes.
- Develop and manage the budget for tooling installation, ensuring optimal use of resources and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tooling and equipment installations within the automotive industry.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale installation projects.
- Expertise in financial modeling and cost analysis, particularly in preparing bid packages using the 15% of tooling cost method.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of current industry standards and regulations related to automotive tooling and equipment installation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
