Responsibilities:

The Service Advisor is responsible for greeting customers and gathering the information required to identify and define the repair and maintenance needs of their vehicles.

Customer-related tasks:

- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and obtain information about their car;
- Advise customers on how to care for their car;
- Schedule maintenance appointments;
- Sell lubrication, safety inspection and similar services, or any other maintenance required by the manufacturer;
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor and parts;
- Check progress of work throughout the day. Communicate with customers regarding any changes to the estimate or turnaround time, explain costs and time involved in detail, and obtain appropriate authorization before additional work is carried out;
- Review repair orders to ensure work is completed and additional repairs and authorization are recorded. Close repair orders according to standards.

Requirements:

- You have at least 1 year of experience in a similar position in a car dealership;
- You have a valid driver's licence;
- You have good mechanical knowledge;
- You have multitasking, structure and organization skills;
- You are able to manage priorities and follow through rigorously;
- You have good computer skills (knowledge of SDS [Serti] software a desirable asset).
