Shop Dispatcher

Ford Ile-Perrot, a member of Groupe AutoForce, is looking for an Automotive Shop Dispatcher to join our team. Our new dealership, opening at the end of 2024, offers a modern, air-conditioned work environment equipped with the latest technologies.

Your responsibilities:

- Dispatch work orders to technicians based on their skills and the repairs required.
- Monitor work progress and adjust priorities throughout the day.
- Ensure quality repair service and minimize comebacks.
- Coordinate communication between technicians, service advisors, and the service manager.
- Open and close internal work orders.
- Handle subcontracting requests when needed.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery timelines, and internal procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of shop processes.

Your profile:

- Relevant experience in dispatching, as a Service Advisor, or in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of mechanical shop operations and automotive repairs.
- Ability to manage pressure and multitask effectively.
- Positive attitude and strong team spirit.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the SERTI system and North American brands is an asset.
- Ability to communicate in French and English (customer communication).
