YOUR CHALLENGE:
As Director of Fixed Operations at Motoplex, you will occupy a strategic leadership position at the heart of our organization. You will direct and optimize all post-sales activities, while supervising a dynamic team to ensure the operational excellence and profitability of our service, parts and accessories departments.
Your daily mission:
- Supervision and development of the fixed operations team (service, parts, accessories);
- Strategic planning of department activities and optimal allocation of resources;
- Management of the sector's financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs);
- Coordination of customer service operations and ensuring customer satisfaction;
- Negotiation and management of relationships with parts and service suppliers;
- Development and implementation of continuous improvement processes;
- Analysis of fixed operations revenues, costs and profit margins;
- Leadership in achieving parts and services sales targets;
- Training and coaching of team to maintain standards of excellence;
- Close collaboration with senior management on strategic decisions.
Essential requirements:
- Experience: 5 to 8 years in operations management, ideally in the automotive/RV industry;
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in team management and staff development;
- Financial skills: Ability to analyze financial statements and manage budgets;
- Computer skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel, management systems (DMS) and analysis tools;
- Major asset: Knowledge of Lautopak or similar systems.
Skills:
- Intermediate bilingualism (French/English) for relations with suppliers and customers;
- Strategic vision and medium/long-term planning skills;
- Results orientation with experience in achieving performance objectives;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Knowledge of the recreational vehicle industry (a considerable asset);
- Ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment;
- Inspiring leadership and ability to mobilize teams towards excellence.
