Technician

Central Import is proud to be the premier independent European specialists servicing downtown Toronto for over 45 years. We are looking to add a Technician to join our family business. Some Job Responsibilities Include:

- Test and diagnose vehicle faults using the latest OEM diagnostic tools and test procedures;
- Communicate service and repair requirements effectively and efficiently to the Service Advisor;
- Receiving and completing repair orders as instructed;
- Performing excellent and efficient repairs on various automotive systems to factory level standards;
- Maintaining a clean and organized work space adhering to Health & Safety Standards accounting for shop tools and equipment;
- Participating in continual paid training and educational programs to develop their skills and knowledge with new vehicle technologies.

What we are looking for:

- European vehicle experience BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche,Volvo of more than five (5) years;
- Excellent team player and leadership skills;
- Strong aptitude for complex diagnostic and mechanical repairs;
- Willingness to embrace ongoing training opportunities;
- Knowledge of automotive programming and diagnostics using the latest technology;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Valid Automotive Service Technician Certification;
- Valid Drivers Licence.
