Fleet Mechanic: Your West Coast Adventure Awaits!

Weprovide an unparalleled luxury fishing experience that not only immerses ourguests in the natural beauty of our surroundings but also instills a deepappreciation for fishing and the environment. 

Contract length is subject to change based on the demands of theseason but will go to approximately mid-September. 

Get to know us:

Drive west along one of the most scenichighways in Canada through the spectacular mountainous landscape of StrathconaPark and the village of Gold River towards Tahsis. Approximately 2 hours byroad from Campbell River on Vancouver Island is Moutcha Bay Resort, onthe waters of Nootka Sound.

Requirementsfor a Fleet Mechanic:

You have a minimum of 5 years professional vessel maintenance experience

You have a driver's license and driver's abstract. 

You have experience driving a tractor. 

You can follow direction and work independently.

You have a solution-based approach to challenges. 

You can maintain organized files and have basic computer skills. 

Vehicle maintenance experience and asset. 

Training in Yamaha preferred. 

Duties of a Fleet Mechanic. 

Perform scheduled inspections, maintenance, and repairs of vessel fleet. 

Prioritize tasks around availability of parts, vessel location, and business needs. 

With approval purchase operating supplied and required equipment. 

Complete spring rig-up and fall winterization of vessels. 

Oversee and maintain the dry boat storage facility. 

Communicate to maria staff any unique challenges or issues pertaining to the fleet. 

Land vehicle and machinery maintenance and repairs when required.
