Credit specialist - automobile sales.
Location: Kia Dorval dealership.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday.
Position summary:
At Kia Dorval, we make a difference by offering an opportunity to all our customers, especially those requiring a 2nd or 3rd chance at credit. As a Credit Specialist, you will play a key role in guiding customers towards the realization of their automobile purchase project.
Main responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and establish a relationship of trust.
- Analyze credit files to accurately assess customers' financial needs.
- Take charge of credit-rejected files in order to offer new solutions adapted to their specific financial situation.
- Determine a realistic budget adapted to the customer's financial situation.
- Identify and propose new or used vehicles that perfectly match the customer's needs and budget.
- Propose complementary financial products and after-sales programs (insurance, extended warranties) to maximize department revenues.
- Work closely with financial institutions specializing in alternative credit (2nd and 3rd chance).
- Negotiate advantageous agreements for customers while respecting the requirements of financial institutions.
- Effectively manage the entire administrative process, including vehicle registration with the SAAQ, and vehicle inspections.
- Proactively prospect to continually expand the customer portfolio.
- Ensure rigorous follow-up after the sale to guarantee optimum satisfaction.

Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in automotive sales or financial services.
- Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of financial products and warranty programs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and compliance standards.
- Bilingualism required: Fluency in spoken and written French required. Knowledge of expert English required, as this position involves regular interaction with unilingual English-speaking customers.
