Job description
In support of our Service Manager, we are looking for someone with good experience in the service department of a mechanical workshop. In our opinion, the candidate must have experience as a technical advisor to be able to accomplish the objectives of the position.
Job duties may vary depending on the candidate's strengths and experience. The aim is to work with the manager to create a high-performance, efficient team to support the department's growth. But as a basic outline, here are the tasks to be accomplished:
- Greet customers and open work orders;
- Follow up on work in progress, parts received, etc.;
- Offer maintenance suggestions in accordance with the manufacturer's charter;
- Ensure customer satisfaction and follow up on CSI;
- Ensure work orders are completed according to manufacturer's standards;
- Respect all procedures in place.
The candidate must be a good communicator and show leadership. He/she must work in a safe manner and promote this way of doing things.
Knowledge of Serti software and experience in a dealership are definite assets.
