Job description

We're looking for a Financial & Insurance Manager - Automotive.

Are you an expert in financial management, autonomous and resourceful, with solid experience in the automotive sector? We have an opportunity for you!

Location: North Shore of Montreal.

Your responsibilities:

- Establish a solid relationship of trust with customers;
- Draw up a financial profile of customers;
- Apply for credit and guide customers through the process;
- Inform customers of their financial rights and obligations;
- Inform customers about after-sales products such as credit insurance, warranty, cosmetic protection, maintenance plan, etc;
- Work with different tools such as Dealertrack, Route One, Unifie, etc..;
- Be able to work with different DMS;
- Ensure that all procedures meet current compliance standards.

Required training and qualifications:

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following:

- Diploma of Collegial Studies or Attestation of Collegial Studies (AEC) in accounting, management, finance or a related field;
- AEC in automotive finance (a major asset);
- Knowledge of automotive technology tools (e.g. Dealertrack, Route One, Unifi, DMS such as PBS, Serti, Reynolds, etc.);
- Experience in credit analysis, financial sales and after-sales (F&I);
- Training or knowledge of current regulations: Consumer Protection Act, Bill 25, compliance practices;
- Additional training in sales, negotiation or customer service (an asset).

Required qualities:

- Autonomous and resourceful;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, especially during periods of high demand;
- Highly organized with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Negotiation and persuasion skills to help customers make the right decisions;
- Thoroughness and attention to detail in all stages of transactions;
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain financial information and products to customers;
- Proactivity and ability to anticipate customer and company needs;
- Knowledge of the automotive environment and experience in a similar role.
