Your Key Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate the supply and disposal of packaging material, in cooperation with package suppliers or waste management companies.
  • Plan and organize schedules with package supplier to provide production with packaging material in-time/in-sequence.
  • Cooperate with MRP (material and resource planning) planner in production or supply chain to align schedules respectively.
  • Execute all respective administrative activities (i.e. ordering materials, maintaining database information, etc.), also with involved service providers.
  • Coordinate the transportation, re-use or disposal of packaging material.
  • Monitor packaging material inventory and reorder as necessary to avoid shortages.
  • Provide support for manufacturing area and related support functions.
  • Attend regular meetings and activities with Production Leaders.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, react accordingly to min and max.
  • Support inventory and cost reduction activities.


Your Qualifications

 

  • Post-secondary educational institution in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management program or similar degree
  • Solid knowledge of computer applications and software
  • Strong knowledge and skills in MS Excel
  • Ease at math and problem solving.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge in SAP
  • Consistent and effective planning abilities
  • Disciplined, organized and attentive to detail
  • Some flexibility with working hours
  • Capable of working autonomously and completing tasks efficiently.
