The Mechanic Service Advisor's main tasks are to sell tires and mechanical services, and to provide after-sales service to the branch's clientele.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Greet customers and identify their tire needs;
- Advise on tire purchases and close the sale;
- Assist mechanics in diagnosing vehicle problems;
- Place parts orders in the computerized system;
- Ensure the quality of work performed by carrying out road tests;
- Promote the company's other services when visiting customers;
- Answer telephone calls concerning technical questions about tires or the progress of work in progress;
- Produce an estimate of the work to be carried out on the vehicle;
- Invoice customers in accordance with vehicle work orders;
- Carry out cash closing procedures and produce daily reports.

SUCCESS FACTORS:

- Technical knowledge: at least 3 years of experience in sales or consulting, combined with extensive knowledge of the automotive industry, give you the necessary assets for this position;
- Customer service orientation: you have impeccable interpersonal and sales skills, always putting the customer's needs at the heart of your actions;
- Interest in the automotive industry: you have a passion for this field, and a good knowledge of mechanical principles and tires, and are constantly striving to improve them;
- Time management: you are able to manage deadlines and make well-thought-out decisions quickly;
- Bilingualism: you communicate perfectly in English and French and can offer sales and advice in both languages.
