We are currently seeking a Heavy Duty 310T Licensed Mechanic or registered apprentice for our Orangeville shop. You will be a large part of our maintenance programs and yearly safety inspections on a growing fleet of Mack trucks, front end loaders and pickup trucks. As a licensed 310T mechanic, you will repair and maintain fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with company, safety and regulating body standards and procedures. The licensed 310T mechanic will need to possess the recommended hand tools for the job. 

Responsibilities
 

• Perform all phases of vehicle and equipment maintenance including initial diagnostics, brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches, etc.
• Ensure preventative maintenance, safety inspections and annual maintenance and required repairs are successfully completed
• Complete and maintain necessary reports, work orders and records of all completed maintenance work
• Be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policies and procedures
• Respond to road calls and emergency mechanical services as needed
• Additional responsibilities as required

Technical Requirements 
 

• Must possess, provide and maintain recommended hand tools for the job (specialty tools will be provided)
• 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certification
• Minimum 3 years' practical experience with heavy trucks

Business Requirements
 

• Full time position, Monday - Friday, 7am-5pm
• Strong attention to detail
• Must possess a valid class G driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
• Desire to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, customer-focused environment

This position pays between $39 - $44 per hour, based on skills, education and experience.
