Job description:

As a Sales Accounting Clerk, you will play a key role in managing daily financial transactions and maintaining accounting records. Working closely with the administrative and financial team, you'll ensure the follow-up of accounts receivable and payable, as well as the accuracy of sales and cash receipts.

Main responsibilities:

- Verify receipts and obtain necessary authorizations prior to payment;
- Prepare cheques for accounts payable;
- Issue receipts for cash payments following vehicle sales;
- Account for cash receipts and update accounts receivable ledger.
- Record new and used vehicle sales;
- Verify that all documents are complete and compliant before archiving;
- Authorize payment of commissions according to final documents;
- Monitor builder sales programs and ensure credit accuracy;
- Account for builder invoices and make any necessary adjustments;
- Ensure the accuracy of inventories (new and used vehicles);
- Manage accounts receivable, financing and customer accounts until full payment;
- Produce reports as requested;
- Maintain effective communication and contribute to team spirit;
- Comply with health and safety standards;
- Perform any other related duties.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in the Office suite, knowledge of CDK Drive and One-Eighty (an asset);
- Sense of organization and responsibility;
- Professionalism and positive attitude;
- Team spirit and excellent communication skills;
- Autonomy, initiative and good judgment;
- Attention to detail, flexibility and adaptability;
- Good management of priorities and respect for deadlines;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Training

- DVS in accounting or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years), ideally in the automotive sector.
