Our St-Jérôme Chevrolet dealership, ranked 2nd best seller in Quebec, is looking for a Director of Fixed Operations. Replacing the Vice President of Fixed Operations, who will be called upon to carry out other mandates within our organization, the ideal candidate will have contributed to the success of a solid, reputable dealership, while having a participative management style.

Reporting to the dealership's General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

- With 21 mechanical bays in our workshop, the person will have to maintain a high quality repair service and reduce returns.
- Ensure workplace health and safety by enforcing workplace health and safety legislation.
- Develop strategies to optimize operational processes and improve customer satisfaction.
- Administer warranty claims to ensure compliance with warranty policies.
- Establish pricing schedules for fixed operations and make recommendations to management.
- Establish recruitment needs, hire and train staff under his responsibility.
- Hold regular team meetings and ensure the satisfaction of the 35 employees in place.
- Establish a favorable climate with the advisory team to maintain harmonious relations with customers in order to build loyalty and ensure that their recommendations for potential customers are taken on board.
- Analyze fixed operations performance using key indicators, and implement improvements based on results.
- Oversee a customer satisfaction monitoring system.
- Deal with customer complaints promptly, in accordance with dealership terms and conditions.
- Work in conjunction with the Parts Manager to ensure inventories and budgets are met.
- Participate in all management meetings required for the smooth running of the department.
- Be able to work on different software packages and be computer literate.
