Dealer services / auto mechanics / permanent / Brossard or Montreal / work from home / start date: as soon as possible
Hours of work: Hours of work depend on requirements, but may be as follows: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

- 35-hour work week with different shifts, mainly between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday to Friday.
The Mechanical Warranty Claims Adjuster is responsible for assigning and following up on claims for mechanical warranty and extended service insurance policies sold across Canada, and for processing a variable volume of new claims, all in compliance with standards.
Claims:
- Complete the entire process for mechanical warranty claims, assigning inspectors where necessary. Justify to customers claims not covered by warranty;
- Communicate decision to claimants;
- Where applicable, calculate and enter payments into the system, taking into account the contract in force;
- Communicate with customers in writing using standard letters, which may be modified, depending on the situation;
- Discuss problematic or complex cases with superior;
- Negotiate with the customer in the case of an overpayment, to ensure that IA receives full reimbursement.
Customer service:
- Develop and maintain business relationships with customers, as well as with colleagues in regional offices;
- Responds positively to change, handles all other related tasks as assigned;
- Provide effective and professional communication, while maintaining the confidentiality of assigned files, and adhering to coverage standards.
Your career path looks like this:
- College diploma or DVS in the automotive industry;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry;
- Excellent French and English language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interaction with English and French-speaking customers across Canada;
- Experience with recreational vehicles considered an asset (RVs, snowmobiles, motorcycles, etc.);

- Demonstrated aptitude for personal relations and telephone communications (customer-oriented service);
- Demonstrated organizational and negotiation skills, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Internet skills.
