Job description

Regions: South Shore of Montreal, Montérégie.

Under the Sales Manager's supervision, the Auxiliary Product Specialist is responsible for maximizing the performance of auxiliary products for assigned dealers. He supports his customers in various ways to optimize their performance and maintains excellent business relationships.

Main responsibilities:

- Accelerate sales growth by developing existing accounts and identifying growth opportunities for new ancillary products.
- Provide technical training and support to dealers, distributors and original equipment manufacturers to ensure compliance with health and safety, installation, operation and maintenance requirements.
- Optimize sales in the territory by traveling regularly to support sales and maximize business opportunities.
- Leverage marketing networks to achieve sales objectives.
- Analyze competition to identify gaps and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Evaluate customer performance using sales reports to develop strategic plans and improve performance.
- Work with business partners to develop business and make recommendations for adjustments.
- Handle complaints and analyze market and sector trends.

Technical and industry knowledge:

- In-depth knowledge of Diamond Kote products and plans distributed by iA Services to dealers, as well as knowledge of competing products.
- Expertise in the Diamond Kote platform and in-depth understanding of how it works.
- Good knowledge of the automotive market and the role of the dealership CFO.
- Understanding of dealership operations, particularly processes related to the service department (product sales and application).

Systems and tools skills:

- Familiarity with systems used by retailers, including UniFIe, UniFIe 2.0, Dealertrack, Ebiz, and other common industry software.
- Ability to effectively use software applications relevant to the position.

Analytical and problem-solving skills:

- Ability to solve various types of problems ensuring positive results for customers, dealer partners, and iA.
- Ability to make sales forecasts, analyze performance reports and manage budgets to evaluate business results.

Training and communication:

- Ability to impart knowledge of ancillary products in an educational manner to both internal iA teams and external partners.
