About Us

Performance Collision Brampton is looking for a Production Manager to join their team.
The Production Manager is responsible for the overall operations and management of the
Body Shop production team. They supervise the production team on a day-to-day basis to
ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Performance Collision is Brampton's most fully brand-certified collision centre. We
are proudly certified to repair Acura, Chrysler, Dodge, INFINITI, Jeep, RAM, FIAT,
Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Genesis, Kia, Nissan, and Subaru vehicles. We are
experienced in servicing all makes and models of vehicles!

repair their vehicles to the highest standard of quality, should an unfortunate accident

Job Description

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
 

  • Distribute repair jobs to Body Shop Technicians, Preppers and Painters
  • Keep a log of estimated vehicle repair time
  • Communicate with Estimators and Insurance appraisers regarding repair costs
  • Ensure all equipment in the Body Shop is in safe operating condition
  • Reviews and implements policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and all other workplace regulations and policies
  • Work with Administrators regarding purchase orders
  • Provide updates on delayed repairs or back-ordered parts
  • Monitors the operating budget by tracking sales and expenses
  • Promotes safety and security procedures
  • Perform other Body Shop related duties as required by management
  • Work in strict compliance with the Laws of the Province of Ontario and Canada including, but not limited to, the Employment Standards Act (ESA) and the Accessibilities for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
  • Uphold all rules and procedures - support enforcement, including disciplinary action as necessary
  • Understand and comply with all federal, provincial and local regulations that affect service operations, such as the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), waste disposal regulations, etc.

  • Other duties as required


Employment requirements:
 

  • Minimum of 2 years similar experience in a managerial role
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechanical or body shop role
  • Must have a valid Ontario Drivers License and clean driver's abstract
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Excellent communication (in English), interpersonal and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • Able to understand acceptable manufacturer and dealership standards of repair status
  • CDK experience preferred
  • Strong computer and leadership skills
  • Bodyshop Technician License is an asset but not required
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
