Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Tri-City Equipment)

Tri-City Equipment is continuing to grow and looking for a Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic to be based anywhere in the GTA/Southwester Ontario. Primary Duties & Responsibilities

 

• Travel throughout Southern Ontario performing various repairs on heavy equipment.
• Communication internally as well as with our customers to keep everyone informed of resource requirements and equipment deficiencies
• Maintain and repair Excavators, Articulated Dump Trucks, Dozers, Loaders, attachments and miscellaneous pieces of heavy equipment.
• Service calls to repair and maintain equipment on various mining and construction sites in the area
• Perform various related duties as required

Qualifications & Experience:

 

• Heavy Equipment Technician, Truck and Transport Mechanic Certificate or equivalent (i.e. Red Seal)
• Apprentices will be considered
• Previous experience in the medium / heavy duty equipment or the automotive industry
• Clean valid drivers license (DZ preferred)
• Experience with applicable technology and software
• High degree of product and technical knowledge

• Professional conduct is a must to be successful in this role
• A self starter who works well alone or as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills are needed to ensure the correct parts are ordered
• Variety of skills to diagnose and repair in timely and effective manner
