Role description:

Arcadis is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Part Time As Needed (PTAN) Logistics Manager to lead and oversee critical logistics operations for major events and field activities. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in scoping, procurement, and agreement development for event-related sites and parking, while also managing field support programs and coordinating with cross-functional teams. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, unpredictable environments.

This role will sit within the Global Resilience Business Area, We partner with our clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving. Climate change, urbanization and digitization trends are requiring today's mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the world's growing population. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods.

Role accountabilities:
• Lead scoping, procurement, and agreement development for sites and parking required to support large-scale events.
• Oversee field support and coordination for field maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement plans for field support programs.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), communication protocols, and coordination processes for field support teams.
• Facilitate efficient communication between field support teams and key stakeholders such operational teams and management.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and manage staff and volunteers, ensuring high retention rates and team engagement.

Key Skills:
• Proven problem-solving, interpersonal, and team-building skills, with the ability to implement change in dynamic and unpredictable environments.
• Creative thinker with the ability to "think outside the box" and develop innovative solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:
• 5+ years of relevant management-level experience in bus maintenance/operations and large-scale special event coordination.
• Experience managing staff and volunteers, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and fostering retention.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with large-scale event logistics and field operations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.

The salary range for this position is $114,590 - $212,810. The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
