Main responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of employees;
- Maintain optimal inventory management;
- Collaborate with the Service Manager and Accounting to ensure the efficient turnover of parts needed to perform in-house work;
- Plan and monitor the budget;
- Coordinate the weekly and daily activities of his team;
- Implement and ensure compliance with procedures (receiving/shipping, customer service, etc.);
- Develop and provide reports on departmental objectives and results;
- Maintain good relations with employees, colleagues and suppliers;
- Maintain a high level of customer service by intervening, when necessary, with customers and suppliers;
- Promote and enforce occupational health and safety standards;
- Ensure the development of the parts distribution network, which generates profits and profitability;
- Participate in the recruitment, evaluation, development and motivation of employees under his responsibility;
Training
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong customer service abilities, and a passion for automobiles;
- Good understanding of customer and retailer needs;
- Skill in inventory management;
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills;
- Organizational abilities and attention to detail;
- Ability to tackle problems with a positive attitude and follow through to resolution;
- Capability to remain calm and focused under all circumstances to provide exceptional service to customers;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Professionalism, courtesy, and a neat appearance;
- Asset: Experience with GM products;
- Ease and interest in working as part of a team to achieve common goals.
