Mechanic / Apprentice

Groupe Carbur is looking for a Mechanic of any class for our Saint-Jérôme Auto Dépôt dealership.

- Salary scale in effect between $19.47 and $40 per hour, calculated according to class and experience;

Schedule:

- Shift from Monday to Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m;
- Permanent full-time;
- 40 hours per week (overtime possible if interested).

Responsibilities:

- Multi-point vehicle inspections;
- Repair or maintenance work;
- Vehicle modifications;
- Engine, brake, exhaust and lighting maintenance;
- All other related tasks.

Requirements:

- Valid driver's licence;
- Proficiency in manual and automatic driving;
- Organizational skills;
- Minutia and precision;
- Reliability;
- Team player.

Assets:

- Knowledge of electric vehicles;
- Knowledge of GM or Chrysler products;
- Knowledge of fuel injection;
- Knowledge of electrical work;
- Knowledge ok diesel.
