If you are a detail-oriented and are looking to grow your career in the collision repair industry, then this could be your ticket to a great career.As aPaint Prepper, your role will be to complete refinish repairs quickly and efficiently to have the vehicle ready for delivery on the promised due out date.

We are looking for a Refinish Prepperthat is willing to be trained and demonstrates the ability to learn.

A day in the Life of a Refinish Prepper at Fix Auto:

 

• Check all parts for damage and correctness prior to beginning and notifying the Production Manager of any discrepancies.
• Read, understand, and follow R/Os (Repair Orders).
• Clean and smooth surfaces before the application of primer and paint.
• Detailing of paint work such as unmasking, inspection, touch ups, buffing and minor reassembly.
• Prepare the vehicle for paint; sanding, taping, and applying primer.
