What you'll do:
 

  • Develop and optimize calibrations to meet performance and timing requirements utilizing Calibration Standard work
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to newer Thermal Calibrators.
  • Conduct/Support calibration reviews to ensure high quality calibrations
  • Participate in development trips and related test activities
  • Lead Root Cause investigations in your area of responsibility. Where needed, you will be requested to provide support to other members of the team
  • Assist in the prioritization of software improvements, calibration process improvements and analysis capability growth for the calibrations you own


Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
 

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience developing SW calibrations
  • Experience with controls of complex Thermal management systems and associated hardware
  • Experience with in-vehicle testing, including troubleshooting experience with electrical systems.
  • Ability to complete minor automotive mechanical and wiring work.
  • Experience with tools commonly used in calibration: INCA, Vehicle Spy, CRETA, MDA, and/or MATLAB/Simulink
  • Experience with data acquisition and analysis
  • Independent worker requiring little direction and works well in a team environment.
  • Excellent planner and complex problem solver, strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel on short notice.
  • Valid Driver's license for Ontario.

  • Master of Science degree in Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of the bevHEAT Thermal System
  • Previous experience mentoring, training, leading in your feature area
  • Expertise in OBDII compliant diagnostics
  • Knowledge of safety critical control systems
