Job Summary
CMI is looking for a 310T Mechanic to join our Maintenance TeamIn this role you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on company trucks, trailers, cranes, skid steers and forklifts in order to assist in a safe and productive work environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain company trucks and trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance and CVI inspections on trucks and trailers
- Perform scheduled repairs on trucks and trailers
- Ensure running repairs are performed on trucks and trailers as per pre/post inspections
- Complete all required paperwork as per legislative requirements
- Maintain inventory of parts and order as required
- Support drivers and machine/equipment operators with technical knowledge
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required
- Must have a 310T license
- The candidate must have his/her own set of tools
- Must possess a valid G license
- Cooperative attitude, team player, with a willingness to learn
- Physical effort and dexterity is required, lifting up to 50 pounds, including service-related tools
- Experience with maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Able to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Must contribute to the maintenance of a clean, safe and environmentally sound facility
