Job description
Groupe Prestige, RV Prestige department, is looking for an Accounting Clerk. The company specializes in motorized recreational vehicles (classes A, B, C), although trailers and fifth-wheel trailers also represent a significant portion of the inventory.
The job mainly consists of controlling all accounting matters, especially accounts payable. The candidate will receive mail, issue payments to suppliers and assist the controller with month-end reconciliations and government remittances. Some administrative and secretarial duties may also be required. The jobholder will also be responsible for inter-company transactions, since Groupe Prestige owns several companies. Previous work experience will be strongly considered.
The candidate will also assist the service department with manufacturer claims. Other tasks related to this department may also be required, and these require both spoken and written English.

Skills:
At least two years of experience in retail accounting is required. In addition to being generally resourceful and quick-witted, the candidate must enjoy camping and the outdoors (an asset). The incumbent will be in contact with customers and suppliers on certain occasions, in both French and English, so ease of communication and respect for others are essential. Since many of our tools are technological, the candidate must have good computer skills. The Clerk must be autonomous and punctual. Good cooperation with other employees is a must, and safety in the workplace is very important.
