Mechanic/Apprentice

We are looking for a 'echanic (Lanaudière).

The person we're looking for must have skills in diesel, gas, hydraulic and electric engines. You'll be servicing hydraulic drills, trucks, compressors and more.

Other duties:

- Perform corrective, preventive and repair maintenance on various equipment (trucks, construction equipment, compressors, etc.);
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine appropriate solutions;
- Possibility of carrying out mechanical repairs and maintenance on the road at various worksites (if you're interested, the truck will be provided);
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of work areas, tools and equipment;
- Perform any other related tasks linked to the smooth running of the department.

Profile:

- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience;
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrics and pneumatics;
- Additional knowledge of welding (an asset);
- Be in good physical condition;
- Attention to detail, meticulousness and organizational skills;
- Have a good sense of initiative and resourcefulness;
- Ability to work as part of a team.

- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in heavy vehicle or construction equipment mechanics, or significant experience in the field (an asset);
- P.E.P. card certification (an asset).
