Job description
List of common tasks:
- Maintain, adjust, diagnose, repair, or replace (using hand tools, power tools, or special equipment) parts, components, and defective elements of various systems in ambulances or other vehicles in the company's fleet;
- Prepare new vehicles according to established protocol;
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMP) on VAs;
- Perform emergency repairs and roadside assistance at various company service points;
- Prepare purchase orders (during the chief mechanic's vacation);
- Coordinate the movement of vehicles to be inspected or repaired (during the chief mechanic's vacation);
- Perform all other related tasks.
Required qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in automotive mechanics;
- Driver's license with an exemplary driving record;
- Language: spoken French, functional English;
- Good physical condition.

Training
- Vocational Studies Diploma (DEP) in automotive mechanics (or heavy vehicles) required;
- P.E.P. (an asset);
- Halocarbon (an asset).
