Main responsibilities:
- Ensure that the documentation for sales files is complete;
- Balance transactions in the sales computer system;
- Record the sales of new and used vehicles and process commissions for the payroll department;
- Balance the gross profit of each transaction with the commission sheets in the file;
- Produce and reconcile various monthly statistical reports related to sales and inventory;
- Ensure that received payments are accurate and follow up on receivables in coordination with the sales department;
- Verify inventory and receivables schedules after the sales have been recorded;
- Process/log all warranties for sold vehicles and extended service contracts;
- Make entries related to the SAAQclic vehicle registration service;
- Record fund transfers and manufacturer reserves;
- Stock used vehicles and prepare inter-dealer sales contracts;
- Prepare cheques for vehicle purchases and for customers;
- Record supplier invoices;
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in accounting, finance or related field,
- Experience in accounting, specially for car sales,
- Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle and monthly closing processes,
- Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel,
- Knowledge of SERTI software (asset),
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a part of team,
- Bilingual communication skills in French and English to serve our diverse clientele.
