About us:

Récré-Auto Entrepôt Laval is a young, dynamic team passionate about everything with an engine. Since our dealership opened two years ago, we have grown rapidly and our projects are multiplying.

We are currently looking for a Manager or Senior Advisor to take charge of the service department and support our team of mechanics in their daily work. This role is for someone who is organized, proactive, and has strong technical leadership skills. A former mechanic with experience in management or customer service would be ideal for this position.

Your role:

- You will be responsible for the smooth running of the service department, ensuring that operations run efficiently, customers are satisfied, and your team of technicians is well supervised and supported.
- You will manage 4 to 6 mechanics, while providing technical and organizational support on a daily basis.

Your main responsibilities:

Management and supervision:

- Plan, organize, and supervise the work of the team of mechanics.
- Support technicians in their diagnostics and prioritize work according to customer needs and workload.
- Ensure a positive and motivating work environment through your hands-on leadership.
- Provide ongoing training to your team to promote skills development and compliance with procedures.
- Manage schedules, task allocation, and employee performance monitoring.

Service and operations:

- Serve certain customers while prioritizing department supervision.
- Ensure quality service and adherence to deadlines.
- Participate in coordinating deliveries and tracking repairs.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through clear and professional communication.
- Effectively manage parts, tools, and inventory to ensure workshop productivity.

Analysis and performance:

- Use SERTI software to plan work, manage files, and ensure rigorous follow-up.
- Be proficient in Excel to generate follow-up reports (productivity, performance, satisfaction, service sales).
- Analyze performance indicators (KPIs) and propose concrete improvements.
- Work in collaboration with senior management to optimize department processes.

Required profile:

- Relevant experience in managing a service department or as a technical advisor.
- Knowledge of mechanics (training or previous workshop experience is a major asset).
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Positive and motivational leadership—you know how to guide, motivate, and support your team.
- Proactive attitude, focused on solutions and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in SERTI software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong customer service skills and impeccable professionalism.
- Ability to work in a growing and constantly evolving environment.
