Job description

Automotive Technician - relocation
Based in scenic cottage country - approximately a two hour drive from Winnipeg, MB

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintainlight-duty vehicles(gasoline and diesel), as well aspower sport equipment, includingboats, ATVs/quads, and snowmobiles.
  • Perform routine services (oil changes, brakes, alignments, tires) and more complex power?train, electrical, and drivability work.
  • Use computerized diagnostic tools, technical service bulletins, and OEM manuals to pinpoint issues efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly explaining findings, outlining repair options.
  • Complete digital work orders and ensure parts are accurately recorded for inventory control.
  • Participate in regular shop safety meetings and keep your bay and shared spaces clean and organized.
  • Work collaboratively within the team and stay current with industry training.

What You Bring

  • Education:Automotive Service Technician?-?Red Seal certification (or provincial equivalent)ORdiploma/degree in a related field (e.g., Automotive or Power Sports Technology).
  • Experience:1+?years in a commercial shop, dealership, or high?volume independent garage; confident with diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on both vehicles and recreational equipment.
  • Licenses/Compliance:Valid Class?5 Manitoba driver's license.
  • Soft skills:Strong troubleshooting mindset, attention to detail, and customer?first attitude; able to thrive in a small team where versatility and reliability matter.
  • Ability to lift 50?lbs, stand/bend for extended periods, and work in occasional cold or hot conditions typical of a shop environment.
