Level 3 Apprentice Technician

Jaguar Land Rover Ottawa is looking for a motivated and eager Level 3 Apprentice Technician to join our service team. At Jaguar Land Rover Ottawa, we take pride in offering exceptional service and maintaining high standards in vehicle care. As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive top-tier service every time they visit. You will earn between $25 and $29 per hour, with the potential to move to a flat rate as you grow within the role.

Responsibilities:
    • Assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
    • Support senior technicians with routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire installations.
    • Learn and perform troubleshooting techniques for mechanical and electrical issues.
    • Use diagnostic tools and software to assess and resolve vehicle concerns.
    • Ensure tools and workspace are kept clean and organized for optimal efficiency.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and repair procedures.
    • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
    • Collaborate with the service team to meet workshop targets and customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications:
    • Current Level 3 Automotive Service Technician Apprentice certification.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
    • Positive attitude and a team-player mentality.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
    • Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and tools.
    • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
