Sales Manager - Desk Manager

We are currently looking for a Sales Manager - Desk Manager for one of our branches on the North Shore of Montreal.

The person will be responsible for motivating and supporting the sales team.

Responsibilities:

- Manage transactions in the new vehicle department (“DESKING”, “T.O.”);
- Help sales consultants close transactions;
- Participate in the training of new sales advisors;
- Participate in the identification of training needs for the sales team;
- Collaborate in the design of improvement programs for sales consultants who are having difficulty achieving their objectives;
- Collaborate on vehicle exchanges between dealerships;
- Keep abreast of new products, programs and current promotions from the manufacturer and/or banking institutions;
- Maintain a customer development system;
- Know and understand all federal, provincial and municipal laws governing retail automotive sales.

Requirements:

- Experience in automotive sales;
- Bilingualism in French and English, both oral and written, at an intermediate-advanced level to meet the needs of our English and French-speaking customers;
- Leadership skills;
- Mentoring and training skills;
- Transaction closing skills;
- Open-mindedness and flexibility.
