Assistant Manager, Automotive Mechanics Department

AutoFlash is looking for someone with excellent skills to fill a Service Advisor and Assistant Service Manager position.

Possible salary package of up to $90,000 per year, depending on experience (base salary $60,000 per year).

Job description:

- Coordinate the preparation of our inventory (used vehicles);
- Open and close work orders;
- Sell maintenance services and schedule work while ensuring quality customer service;
- Advise customers on how to care for their vehicle and stress the importance of maintaining it to manufacturer specifications;
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction;
- Follow-up on work;
- Make appointments;
- Replace the manager during vacation periods or absences;
- Prepare extended warranty claims;
- Assist with parts ordering;
- Ability to work with various web search engines to complete orders, while keeping vehicle upgrade costs to a minimum;
- Take inventory and order high-demand products and upgrade inventory;
- Perform related tasks or as requested by the Service Manager.

Qualifications and skills:

- Relevant experience;
- Established computer skills (knowledge of PBS software an asset);
- Good organizational skills;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Demonstrate professionalism and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Punctuality and diligence;
- Ability to write and speak French, with English an asset;
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn;
- Knowledge of general mechanics;
- Good knowledge of spare parts and accessories;
