Established since 1956 in the east end of Montreal, Christin CHEVROLET BUICK GMC is a leading marketer of GM passenger and commercial vehicles. Our after-sales service team is looking to recruit a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service management in an automotive dealership.

Job description:

The Service Advisor position is the link between the customer and the mechanical workshop.

The Advisor is responsible for demystifying the information provided by the customer and identifying the mechanical problem. The candidate is responsible for planning and estimating work, and is the resource advisor for all aspects of vehicle maintenance, prevention and repair.

The Service Advisor does everything possible to meet the needs of drivers who come to the workshop for regular vehicle maintenance or for a mechanical problem. He/she greets customers, establishes a relationship of trust with them, identifies needs and interprets the information received in order to pass it on to the workshop technician in the form of a work order.

The jobholder informs customers about the various systems and functions of the motor vehicle, offers preventive services and follows up with customers to build loyalty.

Experience in electronics is an asset. Experience with Reynold's & Reynold's ERA Ignite management software would also be an asset.

Onsite training will be provided through our GM Pro Certified Service Advisor certification program.
